Recipe
Ingredients
Serves 6:
Sweetened pastry:

8 1/2 oz flour
-
1 pinch salt
-
2 tbsp sugar
-
4 1/2 oz butter
-
1 small egg
Method:

Prepare the dough:
make a well in the flour. Add the salt, sugar
and 4 1/3 oz of butter, cut into slices. Mix the
ingredients quickly, using the tips of your
fingers, adding the egg. Fold the pastry over
repeatedly, pushing it down with the palm of
your hand, and finally shape into a ball. Allow
it to rest for 2hours.

Melt 4 1/3 oz of
butter over low heat. Chop the walnuts, setting
aside 10 for decoration. Place the chopped nuts
in a bowl, together with the sugar, melted
butter, eggs and flour. Stir with a spatula
until the batter is smooth.

Preheat the oven
to 350°F/180°C.

Grease a 9 1/2
inch/24 cm tart pan with a high rim. Roll out
the dough with a rolling pin and shape into a
circle somewhat larger than the tart pan. Line
the pa with dough. Prick the base with a fork.
Pour the nut mixture into the tart crust. Bake
for 25 minutes.

Take out of the
oven and let it cool completely.

Break the
chocolate into pieces and melt in a double
boiler. Cover the tart with melted chocolate,
smoothing it with a spatula. Decorate with whole
walnuts.
