Method:

Grease an 8 2/3 inch (22 cm) pie pan. Dust with sugar.

Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C.

Core the
apples with an apple corer and peel and quarter them.
Arrange the apples in a pie pan in a crown like fashion,
rounded sides down, and sprinkle with lemon juice. Brown
the apples over high heat for about 1 min.

Roll out
the dough and shape in a 9 1/2 inch (24 cm)
circle, about 1/8 inch (3mm) thick. Cover with
apples, tucking in the sides. Bake for about 30 min.

Turnout upside down by placing a serving dish over the
pan and turning over quickly.
