Method:

Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C.
-
Mix the brown
sugar, flour, and milk in a saucepan. Add 1 1/2
oz (40g) of butter. Stir well. Bring to a boil and boil
for about 5 min.

Take the saucepan off the heat and
add the whole egg, beaten. Cool.
-
Roll out the dough
and line a greased tart pan with it. Pour the mixture
over the tart shell. Bake for 20 min.
