Tarts and Pies Recipes - Rhubarb and Hazelnut Tart Recipe
Ingredients
Serves 4
7 1/4 oz (200g) shortbread dough (refer recipe)
1 tbsp flour
1/2 oz (15g) butter
2 1/41b (1 kg) rhubarb
1 oz (30g) almond powder
3 1/2 oz (100g) sugar
10 oz (280g) hazelnuts
Method:
Preheat the oven to 410°F/210°C.
Roll out the dough on a floured countertop and line a greased tart pan with it.
Peel the rhubarb and cut it into small slices.
Sprinkle the tart base with the almond powder. Layout the rhubarb slices. Add the sugar and chopped hazelnuts.
Bake for 30 min.
