Rose Water Cookies
Ingredients

1 cup/150 g
all-purpose/plain flour
-
1/8 tsp salt
-
1/2 cup/125 g
butter, softened
-
2/3 cup/140 g
granulated sugar
-
1/2 cup/50 g
finely chopped almonds
-
1 tsp rose
water
Method:
-
Preheat the
oven to 350°F/180°C/gas 4. Butter two cookie
sheets. Sift the flour and salt into a medium
bowl.

Use a wooden
spoon to beat the butter and sugar in a medium
bowl until creamy.

Mix in the
dry ingredients, almonds, and rose water to form
a stiff dough.

Drop
teaspoons of dough 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart onto
the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for
12-15 minutes, or until golden. Transfer to
racks to cool.
