No-Bake Cookie Recipes - Chocolate Wedges Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp butter, cut up

  • 4 oz/125 g semisweet/dark chocolate, coarsely chopped

  • 4 tbsp light corn syrup/golden syrup

  • 1/3 cup/40 g corn flakes

  • 2 tbsp shredded/desiccated coconut


Method:

  1. Butter an 8-inch (20-cm) round cake pan and line with waxed paper.

  2. Melt the butter and chocolate with the corn syrup in a medium saucepan over low heat.

  3. Stir in the corn flakes and coconut until well blended. Spoon into the prepared pan, pressing down lightly.

  4. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Use a sharp knife to cut into wedges.
