Ingredients

cups/275 g all-purpose/plain flour

1/2 tsp
baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup/125 g
butter, softened

1 1/4
cups/250 g firmly packed light brown sugar

3/4 cup/180
ml smooth peanut butter
-
4 tbsp milk
-
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract/essence

1 large egg
-
4 oz/125 g
white chocolate, coarsely chopped

4 oz/125 g
semisweet/dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
Method:

Preheat the
oven to 375°F/190°C/gas 5. Set out two 12 inch
(30-cm) pizza pans.

Sift the
flour, baking soda, and salt into a medium bowl.
Beat the butter, brown sugar, peanut butter,
milk, and vanilla in a large bowl with an
electric mixer at high speed until creamy.

Add the egg,
beating until just blended. Mix in the dry
ingredients. Divide the dough in half.

Spread the
dough halves in the pans. Bake for
10-12
minutes, or
until lightly browned. Cool completely in the
pans.

Melt the
white and semisweet chocolates in separate
double boilers over barely simmering water.

Drizzle the
chocolate over the cookies and let stand for 30
minutes to set. Cut into wedges.
