Cereal and Seed Cookie Recipes - No-Bake Sesame Crisps Recipe
Ingredients

cups/130 g sesame seeds
1 tbsp
tahini (sesame seed paste)
1 cup/250 ml honey
1 tbsp finely grated lemon zest
3/4 cup/75 g coarsely chopped walnuts
Method:
Place the sesame
seeds in a medium frying pan over high heat and stir
until nicely roasted. Set aside.
Grease an
8-inch (20-cm) square baking pan with the tahini. Place the honey in a medium saucepan over medium
heat and bring to the boil.
Stir in the lemon
zest, sesame seeds, and nuts. Boil for 1-2 minutes.
Spoon the honey mixture into the pan,
spreading evenly with the back of the spoon.
Set
aside to cool then refrigerate until set. Cut into
small squares or bars to serve.
