Cookies Recipes - Tangy Lemonade Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
-
1/4 cup chopped
pecans
-
3 cups flour
-
1 tsp baking soda
-
1/4 tsp salt
-
1 cup (2 sticks)
butter, softened
-
2 eggs, beaten
-
1 (6 ounce) can
frozen lemonade,
-
concentrate, thawed,
divided
-
1/2 cup sugar
Method:

Instructions for jar:
Spoon sugar
into 1 liter jar. Sprinkle pecans over sugar.

Mix flour
with baking soda and salt and spoon over sugar.

For baking: Preheat oven to 350° (176°C). Empty contents of jar
into large bowl and stir to mix.

Add eggs and 1/2
cup (120 ml) lemonade concentrate to dry
ingredients. Stir well.

Drop dough by teaspoonfuls
onto un greased baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes
or until cookies are light brown around edges.
-
Remove from oven, brush hot cookies lightly with
remaining
lemonade concentrate and sprinkle with sugar. Move
to cooling rack.
