Instructions for jar:
In medium
bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and
salt. Stir well to mix.

Place half of
flour mixture in 1 liter jar and press down
firmly.

Place
cranberries in jar over flour mixture and then
sprinkle chocolate chips over cranberries. Press
down firmly.

Spoon
remaining half of flour mixture over chocolate
chips. Place lid on jar to close.

For baking: Preheat oven to 375(190C). Empty contents of jar
into large mixing bowl. Add vanilla, eggs and oil.

Beat on low speed or by hand to mix until dough is
thoroughly blended. (Dough will be slightly
crumbly.)

Using your hands, shape into 1 1/2-inch
(3.5 cm) balls and roll in sugar. (Cookies will be
irregularly shaped and that's ok.) Place 3 inches (8
cm) apart on un-greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 10
minutes or until very lightly browned around edges.
Remove from oven and let cookies cool on cookie sheet
for 1 minute, then transfer to cooling rack.
