Cookies Recipes - Butterscotch Snaps

(Makes about 3 1/2 to 4 dozen)
Method:

Instructions for jar: Add brown sugar in a 1
liter jar and pack down evenly.

In medium
bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda,
salt. Spoon
half of flour into jar over brown sugar and even
out.

Add cinnamon
to remaining half of flour mixture and stir to
mix. Spoon cinnamon flour mixture over flour
mixture in jar and press down firmly. (You don't
have to divide the flour, but adding cinnamon to
one half gives the ingredients a nice layered
look in the jar.)

Sprinkle
butterscotch chips over flour, pressing down to
fit all of them in the jar. Place lid on jar and
close.

For baking:
Preheat oven to 400 (202C). Empty contents or jar
into large bowl. Add eggs. oil and vanilla.

Beat on
low speed or by hand until dough is thoroughly
mixed. Roll heaping teaspoonfuls or dough into balls
and place 3 inches (8 cm) apart on un-greased cookie
sheet.

Bake for 7 minutes. Remove from oven and let
cookies cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute. then
transfer ,to cooling rack.
