Place the flour in a mixing bowl.

Warm the milk

paste. Fold in the sugar, working with a spatula.

Cut the butter into pieces and work into the dough.
Knead for 30 min, until it comes away from the sides
of the bowl. Leave to rest and rise at room
temperature.

When the dough has risen, punch it
with your fist to make it go down. Cover with cling
wrap and chill for 3 hours.

Shape the dough into a
large crown. Leave to rise again for about 1 hour at
room temperature.

Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C.

Dust with
sugar and bake for 30 minutes. Leave to cool before
serving.
