Method:

Preheat the oven to 464°F/240°C.

Melt 4 1/2
oz (130 g) of butter.

Sift 12 1/3 oz
(350 g) of flour, the yeast, and the baking soda
into a bowl.

Add the sugar, the crushed walnuts,
and the bananas, cut into small slices. Add the
beaten eggs and the melted butter. Mix together
well.

Pour the mixture into a greased and floured
cake pan. Bake for 10 to 15 min.

Lower the
temperature to 390°F/200°C and bake for another 30 to 40 min. Test for
doneness
by inserting a knife blade into the center of the
cake; it should come out clean.
