Method:

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).

Separate the egg
whites from the yolks.

Place 1/3lb (150 g) of butter
and the sugar in a food processor. Blend for 1 min. Add
the egg yolks. Blend for an additional minute. Add the
flour and blend quickly.

Whisk the egg whites with a
pinch of salt until they form stiff peaks. Fold gently
into the mixture.

Peel the apples, cut them into pieces, and add to the
batter.

Pour the batter into a greased pan. Bake for 30 min.
