Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Grate the chocolate
with a coarse grater. Set aside.

Beat the sugar
and the eggs with a wooden spoon for 10 min (or use
an electric mixer for 5 min).

Add the grated
chocolate and 1/3lb (150 g) of flour to this
mixture. Add the crème fraiche. Mix thoroughly.

Pour the mixture into a greased and floured pan.
Bake for about 40 min (the center of the cake should
remain moist)

Turn out the cake on a rack and leave it to cool.

Dust with confectioners' sugar and serve.
