Raspberry Ribbon Coffee Ring Recipe

cup seedless red raspberry preserves or apple butter

cup all-purpose flour or bread flour

cup packed brown sugar

teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method:

Add
first
8
ingredients to bread machine according to manufacturer's
directions. Select the dough cycle. When cycle is
complete, remove dough from machine. Punch down. Cover;
let rest 10 minutes.

Grease 10-inch tube pan. On lightly
floured
surface, roll dough into a 16x8-inch rectangle. Spread
with the preserves or apple butter. Starting from a long
side, roll up into a spiral. Bring ends together to form
a ring. Moisten ends; pinch together to seal ring.

Place
in prepared pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place for
1 to 1 1/4 hours or until nearly double.

Meanwhile, for topping, in a medium bowl stir together
the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in
the 3 tablespoons butter until crumbly.

Brush
dough with milk; sprinkle with
topping. Bake in 350°C oven about 50 minutes. If
necessary to prevent over browning, cover loosely with
foil last 10 minutes.

Cool in pan 15 minutes; remove
from pan. Transfer to wire rack. Serve warm or cool.
