Jumpin' Ginger Butter Recipe

1/2 cup butter, softened

2 tablespoons green onion,
sliced

1 tablespoon grated fresh
ginger

1 teaspoon garlic, minced

1 teaspoon soy sauce
Method:

In a small bowl stir together
1/2 cup softened butter, 2 tablespoons
sliced green onion, 1 tablespoon grated fresh
ginger, 1 teaspoon minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon soy
sauce. Cover; chill until almost firm.

On plastic
wrap or waxed paper, shape the chilled mixture with
a knife into two 4-inch-long logs.

Fold wrap
over logs and use one hand to keep the plastic wrap
taut while the other hand shapes mixture into
rounded logs.

Wrap logs in the plastic wrap. If
necessary, chill again and roll logs until smooth. Rewrap the logs; chill until serving time.

To serve,
cut the logs into 1/4-inch-thick slices.
