Herbed Feta Spread Recipe

Ingredients

 

Makes 1 1/2 cups

  • 1 (8 ounce) package reduced-fat cream cheese

  • 1 (4 ounce) package crumbled garlic, herb feta cheese

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • freshly ground pepper to taste


Method:

  1. In a small bowl combine the cream cheese, crumbled garlic-and-herb feta cheese, 1 tablespoon milk, and freshly ground pepper to taste.

  2. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until well mixed and of desired spreading consistency.

  3. Line a 1 1/2-cup mold or bowl with plastic wrap. Spoon cheese mixture into mold; spread evenly in mold, removing any air bubbles.

  4. Cover the top with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve (up to 3 days).

  5. To serve, unwrap and invert molded cheese onto serving platter. Carefully remove plastic wrap. If desired, garnish with snipped fresh herbs and/or fresh herb sprigs.
