1/2 teaspoon lemon or
orange peel, finely shredded
1 teaspoon lemon or orange
juice
Method:
In a small bowl beat
1/2 cup softened butter, 1
tablespoon powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon finely
shredded lemon peel or orange peel, and 1 teaspoon
lemon juice or orange juice until smooth.
Cover and
chill at least 1 hour before serving.
To serve, let
butter stand at room temperature
about 30 minutes.
